PURPOSE: A cover substrate for a photovoltaic module and the photovoltaic module having the same are provided to maximize the efficiency of a module by improving transmittance. CONSTITUTION: A substrate (100) includes a light entry surface. The light entry surface has an embossed array pattern. A reflection blocking layer (200) is formed on the light entry surface. The refractive index of the reflection blocking layer for a beam of a wavelength of 380-770 nm is 1.32 to 1.39. The embossed array pattern comprises square pyramids or a square pyramid array pattern.
