<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently recovering Ir from a platinum group-containing solution, capable of improving an adsorption rate of Ir to activated carbon and efficiently recovering Ir. <P>SOLUTION: The method of recovering Ir from a platinum group-containing solution includes: a neutralization step of adding a neutralizer for precipitating sulfuric acid to an acidic solution containing Ir and the sulfuric acid, thereby precipitating and separating sulfate ions in the acidic solution, turning a free acid concentration in the acidic solution to 0.03-1.2 mol/L and lowering ionic strength in the acidic solution; a sulfurization step of removing at least one of impurities selected from As, Cu, Fe, Ni, Zn, Bi, Pb, Te, Sn and Sb contained in the Ir containing acidic solution after neutralization by addition of a sulfurizing agent; and an activated carbon adsorption step of passing the Ir-containing acidic solution after the neutralization through activated carbon and making the activated carbon adsorb Ir. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
