PURPOSE: A socket for water pipes and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to maintain watertight properties by a protruded wing even in case the diameter of a double wall water pipe and a triple wall water pipe is different and to maintain the watertight properties between the external diameter of the water pipe and a watertight packing and between the watertight packing and a socket. CONSTITUTION: A socket for water pipes (40) comprise a watertight packing (30) and a front small packing (20). The watertight packing forms internal diameter protrusions in a protruded wing and sticks them to the external diameter of the water pipes. Three front protrusions are formed on the front inclined surface and two rear protrusions are formed on the rear inclined surface. The protrusions are stuck to a packing groove (13). |
