A BREAKDOWN SENSING SYSTEM OF LINER FILM CONNECTION

PURPOSE: A damage detecting system for a waterproofing film joint is provided to enable damage to the waterproofing film joint to be sensed before a leakage of leachate or gas regardless of sorts of wastes, thereby previously preventing a leakage. CONSTITUTION: A damage detecting system for a waterproofing film joint includes waterproofing film modules and a detector. The waterproofing film modules includes conducting wires which are arranged on each joint of waterproofing films (110, 110') in a row. The detector is electrically connected to the conducting wires and senses the positions and the sizes of damage to waterproofing film joints due to damage to the conducting wires. If damage to one or more waterproofing film joints exist, the conducting wires arranged on the damaged waterproofing joints are directly damaged so that the detector predict the position and the size of the damage based on a time interval due to the movement of pulses in the conducting wires.
