PURPOSE: A bar check plate device of an echo sounder for updating sound speed compensation improves the accuracy of a measured value by being precisely arranged at regular intervals and easy to work. CONSTITUTION: Bar-check plates (20) are arranged at regular intervals from the end of a wire and have multiple seawater through holes. The bar-check plate for sound speed compensation forms a wire through hole vertically at the center part and a plate screw groove (14) at the lower surface on the same axle of the wire through hole. The plate screw groove couples a guide part coupling protrusion (110). The guide part coupling protrusion protrudes from the upper surface of a wire fixing guide part (100). The wire fixing guide part makes a connection part protrude to face the guide part coupling protrusion at the lower surface and has a guide part through hole connected to the wire through hole at the center part. The wire fixing guide part has an operation groove (140) connected to the outside by passing through one side of the wire fixing guide part by being connected to the guide part through hole in the direction perpendicular to the guide part through hole.
