PURPOSE: An oil level control device of an automatic transmission is provided to prevent air inhalation by installing a volume control means inside a case. CONSTITUTION: A water level detecting means(105) senses the water level of oil stored in a case(100) of an automatic transmission. The water level detecting means is a temperature sensor. The water level detecting means a water level sensor. A volume control means(106) controls volume according to level of oil measured from the water level detecting means. The water level sensor is installed so that water level is measured in the location higher than an inlet of an oil pump.
