PURPOSE: A side lighting apparatus of a chip mounter and a lighting apparatus of the chip mounter using the same are provided to irradiate light to components even in a narrow space, thereby enabling a user to exactly recognize the components. CONSTITUTION: One end of a couple of side lighting modules (120) is formed in a toothed shape. In the side lighting module, at least one light source (122) is disposed in a slope portion. Components are sucked by a plurality of nozzles. The side lighting modules irradiate light to the sides of the components. A couple of mirrors (130) are disposed in both ends of a lighting apparatus.
