PURPOSE: A tag content executing terminal and a method thereof are provided to drive an installed application and to automatically execute a content to use from stored tag data. CONSTITUTION: In case a corresponding application is not installed, an application determining unit (220) extracts a server link address. A content storing unit (230) stores content data stored in tag data as near field communication data exchange format (NDEF) data. A mobile communications unit (240) communicates with an application providing server which provides the corresponding application. In case the corresponding application is not stored, a content executing unit (250) downloads the corresponding application by connecting with the application providing server using the server link address. The content executing unit executes the content data by installing and driving the corresponding application.
