PURPOSE: An adaptive cruise controlling system and a controlling method of the same are provided to improve the convenience of a driving process by collecting the driving data of a driver. CONSTITUTION: An adaptive cruise controlling system(50) includes a driver information confirming part(10), a driving mode selecting part(20), a driver cruise analyzing part(30), and an adaptive cruise driving part(40). The driver information confirming part transfers a driver information confirming signal to the driving mode selecting part. Unless the driver is a pre-registered driver, the implementation of a custom adaptive cruise driving mode is considered. If the custom adaptive cruise driving mode is selected, the selected decision is transferred to the driver driving analyzing part. The driving mode selecting part receives the driver information confirming signal and considers the implementation of the custom adaptive cruise driving mode. If the driving mode selecting part selects the custom adaptive cruise driving mode, the selected information is transferred to the adaptive cruise driving part.
