PURPOSE: A wire cutting tool using carbon fiber and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent a base material from getting wet by plating solution as a base material in which a conductive coating layer made of metal elements in the wire cutting tool is formed is provided. CONSTITUTION: A wire cutting tool using carbon fiber comprises a base material (100), a conductive coating layer, a wetting layer, and a plurality of grinding particles. Each diameter of carbon fiber (101) is 5-7 um and the diameter of the base material in a wire shape is 200-500 um. The conductive coating layer improves the electric conduction of the base material in a wire shape and prevents the base material from getting wet.
