PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting apparatus and a maintenance method, capable of efficiently removing liquid, etc. that has entered gaps between heads.SOLUTION: A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a line head (16), which is constituted by connecting a plurality of heads (16A) in a longitudinal direction, and in which liquid-repellency treatment is applied to sides (16B) of each head of being surfaces facing adjacent heads; tube supporting members (82) which are, on the opposite side to liquid ejecting surfaces (16C) of the heads, provided between the adjoining heads to support tubes (84) whose one end is inserted between the heads; and air supply means (128) which are connected to the other end of the tubes to supply air from the one end to between heads. |
