PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic stop device of an electric vehicle that automatically stops a start-up state of a vehicle while keeping security and convenience when a driver gets out of the vehicle.SOLUTION: When a portable terminal is detected in a front or rear of the outside of an electric vehicle, a start-up state is stopped (S2→S3→S4→S7) with a lapse of a predetermined time A. When the portable terminal is detected on a side of the outside of the electric vehicle, the start-up state is stopped (S2→S3→S5→S6→S7) with a lapse of a predetermined time B longer than the predetermined time A. When the portable terminal is not detected in the electric vehicle or in front, rear or side of the outside of the vehicle, the start-up state is stopped (S2→S3→S5→S7). |
