PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide vane bush extracting device which not only enables a bush of up to a certain degree of size to be simply extracted even when a fixing hole or the like is not available but also enables it to be reusably extracted without applying a damage thereto.SOLUTION: A guide vane bush extracting device which extracts from a waterwheel cover 1, a cylindrical guide vane bush 2 equipped with a plurality of lubricant pouring holes 2c on an outer peripheral wall thereof and pressed into a waterwheel cover 1 for supporting a guide vane shaft of a waterwheel. The extracting device includes an arrangement member 10 to be placed inside the guide vane bush 2 with a projected claws 12 engaged with the lubricant pouring holes 2c, a baculiform coupling member 20 whose apical end is coupled to the arrangement member 10, and an extractor 30 for extracting the coupling member 20 with the arrangement member 10 coupled to the coupling member 20.
