PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch device that prevents a component from deforming even when a striker having been locked is forcibly drawn out.SOLUTION: In a latch device including a lock member 16 which includes a slider 15 having a circulation cam formed and a hook 45 locking the striker S, and swings around a support shaft 42 between a lock position and a non-lock position, a coil spring 13 which energizes the slider 15 and lock member 16 toward an unlock position, and a guide lever 17 which slides along the circulation cam to lock the slider 15, the lock member 16 energizes the swing by making an energizing projection 46 abut against a contact surface formed on the housing 11 when swinging from the non-lock position to the lock position, and the housing 11 further includes an elastic claw 11a which deflects at least the position of contact of the lock member 16 with the energizing projection 46 outward when the striker S locked by the hook 45 is forcibly drawn out. |
