PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent filming to be caused by toner fixation of one-component developer without using a curved heat sink.SOLUTION: Toner held in a recess 42b of a recess pattern of a developing roller 42 is deposited to an electrostatic latent image of a photoreceptor 2 to develop the electrostatic latent image. The developing roller 42 has a hollow structure having a hollow space penetrating from one end to the other end in a rotation axis direction. The developing roller 42 is cooled from the back side by that an air-supply nozzle (not shown) inserted into the hollow space supplies air into the hollow space.
