PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image quality from being degraded due to sticking of ink, even when a remaining amount of ink in an ink cartridge gets small.SOLUTION: When detecting that an amount of ink in a main tank is under a first threshold set in advance, a control section of the image forming apparatus controls a negative pressure forming part to form negative pressure in a sub tank, and controls a recording head to eject an ink droplet. When time elapsed after the negative pressure is formed in the sub tank is over a second threshold set in advance, the control section controls the recording head to stop ejection of the ink droplet from the recording head. |
