PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a delay of writing completion time.SOLUTION: A storage system comprises a control device, a plurality of drive devices and portable-type storage media. The plurality of drive devices perform writing of data to each of the portable-type storage media. The control device simultaneously performs processing for writing data to a first portable-type storage medium through a first drive device of the plurality of drive devices and processing for writing data to a second portable-type storage medium through a second drive device. When the processing for writing data to either one of the first and second portable-type storage media is completed, the control device cancels the processing for writing data to the other portable-type storage medium. |
