PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil hooking device and a coil hooking method capable of preventing generation of faults, such as wire breaking, caused by flattening a winding start part and a winding end part in a state where they are intersected, in hooking a coil of a rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A winding start part 21 and a winding end part 23 of a coil 2 are held so as to be separated from each other in an axial direction of a commutator 16 by using a guide step part 33 of a coil guide 3 as a boundary when hooked to a claw 17 provided to an outer wall 161 of the commutator 16 of a motor rotor. In this state, caulking means 4 moves forward to press an outer surface 172 and caulk the claw 17. Thereby, the winding start part 21 and the winding end part 23 are fixed in a state where they are separated from each other in the axial direction of the commutator 16. Accordingly, caulking in a state where the winding start part 21 and the winding end part 23 intersect with each other can be avoided, and therefore, generation of faults, such as wire breaking, can be prevented. |
