PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce erroneous determination of a hand motion by appropriately determining the hand motion.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: generation means that generates a difference image from two images; extraction means that extracts a first region corresponding to a predetermined color and a second region other than the first region from a region having a difference in the difference image; and determination means that determines whether the first region represents the hand motion on the basis of a motion amount of the second region determined from the area of the second region and the sizes of the first region and the second region.
