PHOTOPROBE AND METHOD FOR OPTICAL MEASUREMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for optical measurement, even when a photoprobe is bent, capable of suppressing fluctuation in detection sensitivity, and to provide a photoprobe suited for use in the method.SOLUTION: A photoprobe 10 includes: an optical fiber 11 for transmitting light between a proximal end 11a and a distal end 11b; an optical connector 12 connected to the optical fiber 11 at the proximal end 11a; a light collection optical system 13 and a deflection optical system 14 optically connected to the optical fiber 11 at the distal end 11b; and a support tube 15 and a jacket tube 16 extending along the optical fiber 11 to enclose the optical fiber 11. The optical fiber 11 is twisted about the axis of the optical fiber not less than 1 rotation/m and not more than 50 rotation/m and fixed to the support tube 15.
