PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable meter-reading device capable of easily photographing a meter.SOLUTION: A portable meter-reading device 1 is used when performing meter-reading work of checking display contents of a meter 3, and includes: a camera 11 for photographing the meter 3; a pole member 12 having an attaching part 121 where the camera 11 is attached and a grip part 122 to be held by an operator; and a deformation device 13 for bending a part of the pole member 12 between the attaching part 121 and the grip part 122. The deformation device 13 includes: a pole angle adjustment dial 131 provided on the grip part 122; and a wire 132 connected to the part of the pole member 12 between the attaching part 121 and the grip part 122 and wound around the pole angle adjustment dial 131. By the rotation of the pole angle adjustment dial 131, the tension of the wire 132 is changed and the bending amount of the part of the pole member 12 between the attaching part 121 and the grip part 122 is changed. |
