PURPOSE: A method for operating a magnetic resonance system and a control device thereof are provided to improve signal to noise ratio by assembling amplitude images related with an equal slice as a single slice image. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of slices of a test target is excited at a first time interval (Tα) by radio frequency (RF) slice excitation pulses (α1,α2). An RF refocus pulse (β1) is emitted at a second time interval (Tβ/2) after a first excitation pulse (α1) or a last excitation pulse (α2) among the RF slice excitation pulses. At least one additional RF refocus pulse (β2,β3) is emitted at a third time interval after the proceeding RF refocus pulses (β1,β2) respectively. The third time interval is as long as twice of the second time interval. |
