PURPOSE: A closed electrode unit of an electrical furnace is provided to prevent the emission of gas including carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide from an electrical furnace since the open space between the electrode bar and electrode lifting unit of the electrical furnace is closed. CONSTITUTION: A closed electrode unit of an electrical furnace comprises an electrode bar(102), a cover(104), a water cooling tank(180), an electrode lifting unit(110), an electrode reducing unit(120), and a closing unit. The cover protects a part of the electrode bar. The water cooling tank protects the lower end of the cover. The electrode lifting unit lifts the cover and the electrode bar. The electrode reducing unit is installed on the electrode lifting unit and presses the electrode bar. The closing unit closes the gap between the cover and the electrode bar. The closing unit closes the gap between the water cooling tank and the cover. |
