PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continued communication performed in a communication device of a relay target, in the case of a decreased charge amount of the communication device that relays communication by tethering.SOLUTION: The communication device includes a transmission/reception unit, a transmission unit, a reception unit, a charge amount observation unit and a tethering control unit, to perform tethering communication. The transmission/reception unit performs data transmission/reception with an opposite device through a base station. The transmission unit transmits data, destined from the opposite device to the relay target device, to the relay target device that relays communication between the communication device and the opposite device. The reception unit receives data transmitted from the relay target device. The charge amount observation unit observes the change of a battery charge amount. When the battery charge amount reaches or falls below a threshold, the tethering control unit controls to request the relay target device to establish communication with the opposite device, if communication can be established between the relay target device and the opposite device through the base station. |
