PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase battery saving effects through discontinuous reception control at a user device allowed to use multiple carriers with carrier aggregation (CA).SOLUTION: A user device capable of communication over M (M≥2) component carriers (CCs) with CA comprises: N (N≥2) communication units that each radio communicates with a base station by using one of the M CCs; a control unit that controls the operational state of each of N communication units separately from one another; and a timer unit that reports to the control unit that a predetermined time has expired since a communication unit among the N communication units received a control signal from the base station, with no further control signals received. The control unit that received a report about a communication unit among the N communication units from the timer unit controls the operational state of the communication unit such that the control unit intermittently gets into an active state. |
