PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device which requires no previous registration of information on a searched person and is capable of reducing power consumption and improving security in ordinary cases.SOLUTION: A terminal device comprising a wireless communication unit for performing wireless communication and a display unit for displaying an image comprises: a switching unit for switching a search mode which is an operation mode for making the terminal device operate as a search side terminal and a searched mode which is an operation mode for making the terminal device operate as a searched side terminal; and a control unit which changes identification information on the terminal device and makes the radio communication unit transmit the changed identification information, when the terminal device is in the searched mode. When the terminal device is in the search mode, the control unit acquires identification information from another terminal device with which the terminal device is connected wirelessly through the wireless communication unit and displays the information on the display unit, where the identification information on the terminal device in the searched mode and the identification information on the terminal device in the search mode are displayed in different display forms. |
