PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump capable of suppressing increase in drive loss caused by a check valve which opens/closes a discharge port.SOLUTION: A vane pump used as a fluid pressure supply source includes a check valve 70 which is opened with respect to the flow of a hydraulic fluid discharged from a discharge port 32 to a high pressure chamber 35. The check valve 70 includes: a valve element 71 which is abutted on a back surface 37 where the discharge port 32 is opened in a side plate 30, and closes the discharge port 32; a plurality of pins 81 protruding from a back surface 74 of the valve element 71; a guide hole 11 which is formed to be opened while facing the high pressure chamber 35 and into which the pins 81 are inserted in a freely slidable manner; and a spring (energizing means) 82 which is accommodated in the high pressure chamber 35 and presses the valve element 71 to the side plate 30. |
