PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which is capable of uniquely specifying a combination of reproducing colors when using four or more primary colors to reproduce an input color.SOLUTION: A color conversion device 10 acquires a first tristimulus value representing a color in a first color space, from an input signal. With respect to each combination of a plurality of different combinations of three primary colors which comprises combination of three primary colors in a second color space being a color space of a display device 20, the color conversion device 10 converts the acquired first tristimulus value to a second tristimulus value representing a color in a color gamut in the combination on the basis of a preliminarily determined color in the first color space. A second tristimulus value corresponding to a color represented by the first tristimulus value is specified on the basis of distances in an XYZ color space between colors represented by the converted second tristimulus values in respective combinations and the color represented by the first tristimulus value, and a color signal representing a color in the second color space, which corresponds to the specified second tristimulus value, is outputted to the display device 20. |
