PURPOSE: A smart disaster warning terminal device which applies a duplex function is provided to continuously perform disaster warning by automatically performing operation control through an assistant controller in case a failure is generated in a main controller. CONSTITUTION: A smart disaster warning terminal device (100) comprises a power unit (110), a monitoring unit (120), an external communication connecting interface unit (130), a broadcasting unit (140), a network communication interface unit (150), and main and assistant controllers (160,170) which form a controller in which a duplex function is applied. The power unit supplies power for operation of the smart disaster warning terminal device. The monitoring unit monitors an operation state of the smart disaster warning terminal device. The external communication connecting interface unit connects an external device to the smart disaster warning terminal device. The broadcasting unit outputs a disaster broadcasting content which is received in the smart disaster warning terminal device. The network communication interface unit performs data communications with a remote disaster warning center. The main controller performs data communications with the monitoring unit, the external communication connecting interface unit, the broadcasting unit, and the network communication interface unit and performs operation control of the smart disaster warning terminal device. The assistant controller independently performs data communications with the monitoring unit, the external communication connecting interface unit, the broadcasting unit, and the network communication interface unit and performs the operation control of the smart disaster warning terminal device in case a failure is generated in the main controller.
