PURPOSE: A pure oxygen combustion system of a diesel engine for a ship is provided to reduce an exhaust quantity of an air pollution material. CONSTITUTION: A pure oxygen combustion system of a diesel engine for a ship comprises a pure oxygen generator (110), a pure oxygen storage tank (120), an oxygen supply line (130), an exhaust gas exhausting line (200), a heat exchanger (300), and an exhaust gas circulation line (210). The pure oxygen generator supplies only oxygen included in an air after inhaling an outside air. The pure oxygen storage tank stores a pure oxygen supplied from the pure oxygen generator. The oxygen supply line guides the pure oxygen inside the pure oxygen storage tank to a combustion chamber of an engine. The exhaust gas exhausting line exhausts an exhaust gas generated after an expansion stroke of a fuel supplied to the combustion chamber of the engine to an outside. The heat exchanger heat-exchanges mutually by being provided with the pure oxygen and the exhaust gas of a high temperature from the oxygen supply line and the exhaust gas exhausting line. The exhaust gas circulation line is connected to the exhaust gas exhausting line, and supplies a part of the exhaust gas passing through the heat exchanger to the combustion chamber of the engine.
