摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a discrepancy between whether or not correction is necessary and whether or not the correction is actually performed.SOLUTION: An image processing circuit includes: a risk boundary detector for detecting a risk boundary that is at least a part of a boundary between a first pixel in which an applied voltage applied to a liquid crystal element in response to an input video signal exceeds a first voltage and a second pixel in which an applied voltage applied thereto is lower than the applied voltage of the first pixel and exceeds a second voltage lower than the first voltage in response thereto out of a plurality of pixels in the input video signal indicating a gradation value of each of the plurality of pixels; and a correction section for correcting the gradation value of at least one of the first pixel and the second pixel such that a difference between the applied voltage of the first pixel and the applied voltage of the second pixel becomes smaller.
