PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device capable of moving a lens with a longer stroke length than before.SOLUTION: A lens drive device 1 includes a rail 100 and a lens holder unit 200. The lens holder unit 200 has a lens holder 210, a piezoelectric actuator 250 and a retaining member 240. The lens holder 210 has a projection section 212 projecting outward from an outer periphery surface of a barrel section 211 retaining a lens. The piezoelectric actuator 250 applies driving force to the rail 100 and is moved in the extension direction of the rail 100 by receiving repulsive force from the same. The retaining member 240 retains the projection section 212 and the piezoelectric actuator 250 so that the rail 100 is held by the projection section 212 and the piezoelectric actuator 250. The projection section 212 is moved in the extension direction of the rail 100 through the retaining member 240 along with the drive of the piezoelectric actuator 250. |
