PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly change roads of search targets in accordance with the distance between a start point and a destination in searching for a route from the start point to the destination.SOLUTION: A computer performs: determining to which of plural levels each of categories of plural roads as targets of route search corresponds on the basis of the distance between a start point and a destination; performing first and second searches, where the former is to search for a route from the start point to destination using, as target, a road category corresponding to a first level and the latter is for a route from the start point to destination using, as target, a road category corresponding to the first level; performing a third search for a route using, as target, a road category corresponding to a second level on the basis of the road point obtained by the first route search and the road point obtained by the second route search; and generating route information on the basis of the first, second and third route searches. |
