PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller follower capable of suppressing the shaft wear between an inner ring and a shaft while preventing the interference thereof with the shaft due to the deformation of the inner ring even when a flange ring is press-fitted to the inner ring.SOLUTION: A roller follower includes an outer ring 1 having large-diameter step parts 5 at both axial ends, an inner ring 2 having shoulder parts 7 at both axial ends, a plurality of rolling elements 4 interposed between the outer ring and the inner ring, and annular flange parts 6 which are press-fitted and fixed to the shoulder parts between the large-diameter step parts and the shoulder parts. The cross sectional shape of the flange part is stepped so that the relation between the thickness t of the flange part on the shoulder part side and the thickness T thereof on the large-diameter step part side is T>t. The roller follower includes an inner ring inner diameter D and diameter-increased parts formed by increasing the diameter of the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring to an inner diameter d within the range of the shoulder part side thickness t of the flange part on the shoulder part of the inner ring. |
