PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual computer and a band control method for a virtual computer group by widening a band without wasting CPU resources of a physical computer.SOLUTION: There is provided a computer which includes a processor, a memory, and one or more network interfaces, and the computer includes a virtualization management section which manages a virtual computer, and a band control section which controls an in-use band of a virtual computer group comprising one or more virtual computers. The virtualization management section includes an analysis section which manages an in-use band of a virtual network interface allocated to the virtual computer, the analysis section measures an in-use band of each virtual computer to determine whether there is a first virtual computer group having an in-use band smaller than a guaranteed band, and instructs control over the band of a second virtual computer group having an in-use band larger than the guaranteed band, and a band control section secures a free band by a deficiency of the guaranteed band of the first virtual computer group by controlling the band of the second virtual computer group. |
