PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device which contributes to reduce the number of parts.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device 1 includes: a reduction gear 60 including a worm shaft 70; a reduction gear housing 25; an electric motor 40; a reduction gear bearing 24; and a coupling part bearing 30. The electric motor 40 includes: a motor shaft 50; and a motor housing 42 which can be attached to the reduction gear housing 25. A motor distal end 53 is coupled to a base end 73. The reduction gear bearing 24 supports the worm distal end 72. The coupling part bearing 30 includes: an inner ring 32 press-fitted to the motor distal end 53; an outer ring 31 fitted to the reduction gear housing 25; and a rolling element 33 disposed between the inner ring 32 and the outer ring 31. In the coupling part bearing 30 bearing, a pre-tension is applied to the rolling element 33 by a force acting on the outer ring 31 by contact of an end face 31B of the outer ring 31 to a shoulder part 26 of the reduction gear housing 25. |
