PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately prevent over-compression in a compression chamber, in a gas compressor.SOLUTION: An auxiliary discharge part 46 is formed at a position where a sum S of an opening area S2 of the auxiliary discharge part 46 opened in a range between a rear surface 58b of a vane 58 on an downstream side of a compression chamber 43 and a front surface 58a of a vane 58 on an upstream side and an opening area S1 of a main discharge part 45 is always set at an area not smaller than the overall opening area SA1 or SA2 of a smaller one out of both the discharge parts 45, 46 in a period from a stage where an extension line L1 of the rear surface 58b of the vane 58 on the downstream side in a rotating direction W of the compression chamber 43 passes through the whole of the auxiliary discharge part 46 by rotation of a rotor 50 to a stage where the extension line L1 passes through the whole of the main discharge part 45; and refrigerant gas G is smoothly discharged to the discharge part 45 or 46 through an opening of a sufficient area (area S) from at least one of the auxiliary discharge part 46 and the main discharge part 45 from the compression chamber 43 even when over-compression of the refrigerant gas G of the compression chamber 43 is about to occur. |
