PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for manufacturing and repairing a printed circuit board capable of suppressing an increase in trouble losses and easily repairing the printed circuit board.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a printed circuit board in which a conductive pattern is provided on an insulating substrate and electronic components are mounted includes the steps of: manufacturing each of a plurality of element substrates constituting the printed circuit board; connecting the plurality of element substrates to manufacture the printed circuit board; checking whether a trouble exists in the printed circuit board; and replacing only the element substrate including the faulty part if a trouble is found in the printed circuit board.
