PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system and an information processing method which enable search of a favorable route depending on a situation.SOLUTION: An information processing system comprises: a position information receiving unit 125 which accepts input of route history information 111 related to one or more mobile terminals 200; a DB 110 which associates and manages the route history information 111 which has been inputted and weather information 113 of the date and time related to the route history information 111; a search request processing unit 127 which receives from the mobile terminal 200 a route search request in which a departure point, a destination, and a date and time are specified; a weather information acquisition unit 126 which acquires weather information of the date and time specified by the search request; and the search request processing unit 127 which transmits to the mobile terminal 200 a search result of a search of a route from the departure point to the destination on the basis of the route history information 111 corresponding to the acquired weather. |
