PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a heat-resistant and highly adhesive ceramic/metal junction in which a metal tube is put on and joined to the outer side of cylindrical ceramics.SOLUTION: An outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical ceramic body 11 is covered with a metal tube 12 while leaving a gap between the outer peripheral surface and the metal tube 12, and a brazing filler metal is filled into the gap. Then, on the outer side of the metal tube 12, a mold clamping die 40 composed of a material having a thermal expansion coefficient smaller than that of the metal of the metal tube 12 is arranged, and the brazing filler metal is fused by elevating a temperature inside a reducing atmosphere furnace. Thereafter, the brazing filler metal is solidified, and thus a ceramic/metal junction 10 in which the cylindrical ceramic body and the metal tube 12 are joined is manufactured. |
