PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dome type monitor camera that includes a tilt motor, a pan motor, and a force transmission unit which transmits a driving force of the pan motor to a camera unit, and is advantageous to be thinned.SOLUTION: A dome type monitor camera 10 includes: a camera unit 22 having a photographic optical system and an image pickup device; a pan motor 42 which rotates the camera unit 22 around a pan rotation shaft 37; a tilt motor 33 which rotates the camera unit 22 around a tilt rotation shaft 23; a force transmission unit which transmits a driving force of the pan motor 42 to the camera unit 22; and a dome cover 12 covering the camera unit 22. In the dome type monitor camera 10, the camera unit 22, the pan motor 42, the tilt motor 33, and the force transmission unit are disposed on a plane S orthogonal to the pan rotation shaft 37. |
