PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device that includes an image processing section performing desired image conversion without increasing a memory.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises: a memory 102 for storing a first digital signal in which RGB conversion processing has been performed to first image information at a first time; an RGBW converter 1041 for performing RGBW conversion processing to the first digital signal read from the memory 102; an RGBW converter 1042 for further performing RGBW conversion processing to a second digital signal in which RGB conversion processing has been performed to second image information at a second time later than the first time; and an over-drive circuit 106 for adjusting a voltage applied to a liquid crystal panel 300 on the basis of outputs from the RGBW converters 1041 and 1042. |
