PURPOSE: A camera device and an autofocus calibration method thereof are provided to automatically focus with codes corresponding to the displacement of an auto-focusing actuator and the posture of a camera module, thereby preventing the auto-focusing speed and the accuracy of auto-focusing from being decreased caused by a difference due to a current and vertical hysteresis. CONSTITUTION: A camera device includes a camera module (100), a memory unit (120), a posture sensing unit (130), and an auto-focus driving unit (150). The camera module includes an auto-focusing actuator (110) automatically focusing a lens by moving a lens unit including one or more lenses. The memory unit stores a look-up table in which codes corresponding to the displacement of an auto-focusing actuator and the posture of the camera module are recorded. The posture sensing unit senses the posture of the camera module. The auto-focusing driving unit drives the auto-focusing actuator with the code corresponding to the posture of the camera module sensed by the posture sensing unit by using the look-up table.
