<p>The invention relates to a panel obtained from timber cut from thin sessile oak trunks resulting from the forestry thinning operations and to a process for obtaining the same, said panel being used in wood industry. The claimed panel is made up of several prismatic pieces of wood, cut to various dimensions depending on the diameter of thin trees, said pieces being attached to one another with an ecological adhesive, the panel being assembled by straight edge to edge, groove and tongue, and also by trapeze-shaped teeth connection. The claimed process consists of the following successive operations in chronological order : cutting the timber, drying timber to a humidity of 12%, thermally treating the dried timber at a temperature of 130°C for 2 hours, conditioning the wood material for 24 hours at a temperature of 20 ± 2°C and the relative humidity of the airφ= 65 ± 5%, cutting the prisms with the cross-section ranging within the size limits 40...60 x 8...24 mm, machining the connection elements : own tongue and groove or trapeze-shaped teeth, preparing the prisms with the view of forming the panel, applying the adhesive on the prism edge, assembling the panel by lateral and frontal compression of the prisms at a specific pressure of 0.02N/mmfor two hours and at a temperature of 20 ± 2°C and relative humidity of the airφ= 65 ± 5%, conditioning the panel for 8 hours at the same parameters as above, calibrating and forming the panel.</p> |
