PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sample a more suitable still-image frame representing the whole of a moving image.SOLUTION: The information processor 1 comprises: a vector calculation section 112 for calculating an amount of movement for each still-image frame by comparison of neighbouring still-image frames; an image selection section 113 for selecting as a marking frame a still-image frame whose calculated amount of movement exceeds a predetermined threshold; a sampling interval setting section 116 for setting, under the condition that the total number of selected marking frames exceeds the number of samples, a sampling interval on the basis of the total number and the number of samples; and a sampling section 117 for sampling still-image frames for the number of samples from the marking frames lined up in an order of appearance in a moving image, according to the set sampling intervals. |
