PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of stabilizing an attitude of an image forming unit when the image forming unit is attached or detached to/from an apparatus body.SOLUTION: When an image forming unit 16 is attached or detached to/from an apparatus body 10A, a first slide surface 94 and a second slide surface 96 of the image forming unit 16 are slid on a first guide surface 82 and a second guide surface 84 of the apparatus body 10A. The first guide surface 82 and the second guide surface 84 have different inclination angles. Accordingly, respective slide surfaces 94 and 96 slide along the respective guide surfaces 82 and 84, and thereby an attitude of the image forming unit 16 at the time of attaching or detaching is stabilized compared to the case where the first guide surface 82 and the second guide surface 84 have the same inclination angle. |
