PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system capable of maintaining player's desire to play even if the character of the player and the other character on a course are separated by a prescribed distance or longer.SOLUTION: A game system 1 prepares an image in a game space from a viewpoint corresponding to the traveling distance of an automobile C2, displays it on a play screen 24b, refers to traveling history tables 26a and 26b, determines whether or not the automobile C2 is behind the stipulated distance of 50 m of an automobile C1 with the present elapsed time of the automobile C2 as a determination time (S7a), and when it is determined that the automobile C2 is behind the stipulated distance of 50 m of the automobile C1 (S7a:YES), reads the course position of the automobile C1 in front of the present traveling distance of the automobile C2 by the stipulated distance of 50m from the traveling history table 26a, prepares a reproducing image G1 of the automobile C1 from the present viewpoint position, and displays it in the play screen 24b. |
