PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent resin composition or a transparent thermoplastic resin composition (transparent resin composition) including a polycycloolefin, which can be used for a transparent film such as an optical film, with high light transmittance in a form of film, and further can attain a large phase difference when made into a phase difference film.SOLUTION: This transparent resin composition includes: 50 pts.mass or more and less than 99 pts.mass of a polycycloolefin, 1 pt.mass or more and less than 50 pts.mass of an alicyclic polyester. The alicyclic polyester includes, as a dicarboxylic acid component and a diol component constituting the polyester, for example, a cyclohexane dicarboxylic acid component and a cyclohexane diol component. |
