PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-effective and low-cost solar battery that has a back contact electrode formed on the opposite side to a light-receiving surface of a semiconductor substrate that produces electricity from light coming into the light-receiving surface, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the solar battery is used to: generate occur an oppositely directed warpage so as to set off a warpage occurring during formation of a back surface electrode, by realizing as a metal oxide film a transparent film having residual stress in a compression direction on a light-receiving surface by sol-gel process or Polysilazane process before formation of the back-surface electrode; provide the metal oxide film with an antireflection characteristic as an antireflection film that decreases reflection quantity to increase the quantity of incident light, by containing fine particles in a solution made by sol-gel process or Polysilazane process; and provide the metal oxide film with a light confinement characteristic based on a textural structure by containing textural particles in a solution made by sol-gel process or Polysilazane process. |
