摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem associated with a flying object caused by a reduction in RCS of a target due to progress in stealth technologies for aircrafts that are a meeting target of the flying object, causing deterioration in the search and tracking performance of a seeker of the flying object and shortening a distance (i.e., a lock-on range) allowing accurate detection of the target, resulting in shortening of terminal guidance time for causing the flying object to meet the target.SOLUTION: A target state quantity estimation device includes: an observation update calculation device for updating an estimation quantity by an observation quantity obtained from a seeker; a temporal extrapolation calculation device for performing a temporal extrapolation calculation using the estimated state quantity and its covariance matrix obtained from the observation update calculation device; and a pattern matching calculation device for using an acceleration estimation value of a target obtained from the temporal extrapolation calculation device to compare with preset target gyration pattern data, thereby estimating a dynamic pattern of the target.
